Sinéad Howland is a highly qualified and solution-focused coach, with over fifteen years’ experience supporting people to maximise their happiness at work.
Sinéad’s style of coaching is forthright, honest, full of empathy, personal and authentic. She encourages her clients to look forwards, connect with their skills and passions, and commit to the work required to create change.
Her passion for coaching as a route to finding balance and fulfillment in life has driven her continued studies. She holds an MA in Careers from the University of East London, is a licensed Firework Career Coach and has recently completed a Diploma in Transformational Coaching. She’s a huge advocate for constantly evolving your skills in order to do work you love, and is currently training in Person-Centred NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and Hypnotherapy to see where that takes her!
Sinéad’s first love is her family – her husband Mark and their two girls Lyra and Sanna. She is acutely aware of how challenging it can be to find the right balance between family and career, and firmly believes it’s a personal choice for each one of us. Based in St. Albans (Hertfordshire), Sinéad practices from her home office or over Skype, to maximise the time she can spend with her family.
Sinéad has worked in career management internationally, having spent periods of time in Malaysia, the USA, and Canada. She believes that every person has the right to a rewarding career and is a committed volunteer focused on getting communities back to work, from a women’s refuge in Malaysia to being on the board of trustees at St Albans Centre for Voluntary Services.
